It wasn't always that the Hogwarts library was filled with students. The echoing sounds of laughter, cheer and gossip would have filled the air with their voices bouncing off the walls creating a soft, distant but solid echo. Today, was just like every other day where the library was quite the opposite of being, cheerful and somewhat fun. The library today was as dead as ever. It seemed like the only people there were just Mark , the librarian and a few other Ravenclaws. It almost felt rather weird seeing only Ravenclaws in the library. It was after all, a Ravenclaw's favorite place to go during their free lessons or study periods. Mark's timetable this year left quite a few study periods available. His options were to either pick up divination again or to just keep the study periods. Well, let's just say, Mark's happy being in the library right now. It was his final year at Hogwarts and wanted to be sure he could nail his exams 100%. He was after all a Ravenclaw. Expectation was that they are the most well educated and strongly wise when it came to their studies. Mark, however was not a common Ravenclaw. He didn't exactly pass all his exams or pass with flying colors. This was why he was here today to try and catch up with the work that was required for his final year.
He was seated at a table close to the window to have both the sunlight and something to look at when procrastinating. " History of Western Magic. " He said as he opened his book grudgingly, murmuring little words under his breath. The book opened with a loud slam as the front hit the table. The echoing slam echoed with a solid volume across the library. The small amount of eyes turned to Mark where he had quickly apologized and went back to his reading. He had trouble studying alone. Alone he would find distractions and little things that would take him away from his study. At least with a friend he would of focused purely on his study to act like he was a proper Ravenclaw. He began reading the first chapter of the book and began to dip his feather ready to take notes.
